Sargodha Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCC&I) organized a meaningful event to commemorate International Women’s Day, bringing together distinguished guests, professionals, and women entrepreneurs to celebrate the invaluable contributions of women in society.
The event was graced by Madam Amna Niaz, Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added great value to the occasion. Insightful remarks were delivered by Khawaja Yasir Qayyum, President SCC&I, Madam Robina Mukhtar, Chairperson Women Entrepreneur & Empowerment, and Madam Shazia Noureen, highlighting the importance of women’s empowerment and their role in building a progressive society.
Madam Amna Niazi briefly discussed the parameters of women's empowerment and highlighted the importance of women's day. She emphasized that every day should be considered Women's day , as women deserve recognition, respect, and empowerment every day, not just on a single occasion.A special tribute was paid to the late Dr. Kousar Raees for her remarkable services in the field of education, social welfare, and women empowerment.On this occasion, commemorative shields were presented:In honor of Dr. Kousar Raees (Late), received by daughter-in-law on behalf of the family.To Madam Amna Niaz, in appreciation of her gracious presence and valuable contributions to the event.The program concluded with heartfelt appreciation for all participants who contributed to making the celebration a memorable and inspiring gathering dedicated to recognizing the strength, leadership, and achievements of women.
