Dr Ijaz Ahmad, Director General of PCSIR labs Complex Lahore visited the Chamber office and held a meeting with the Citrus Exporters of the Area.During the meeting it was informed by the Exporters that PCSIR Karachi is charging testing fees of Rs.35000 but PCSIR Lahore is charging testing fees Rs. 40000 which is much higher to compete in International Market.Khawaja Yasir Qayyum President Sargodha Chamber of Commerce and Industry forced him to reduce the testing fees at least according to the PCSIR Karachi fee.After Discussion, Dr Ijaz Ahmad given his kind consent for reduction in testing fees from 40000 to 35000.It was very good news for Citrus Exporters that would greatly facilitate exporters and industrial stakeholders.
